Potentilla anserina

Description: Silverweed gets its name from the silvery appearance of the leaves. It grows on disturbed soil and rubbish tips and is also an almost universal component of the vegetation of the upper part of sea beaches which are composed of shingle or coarse sand. Here it forms a distinct zone or belt below the start of the true land vegetation.
