Equisetum palustre

Description: As its name suggests, the marsh horsetail occurs commonly in marshy situations such as fens and lake-sides. It somewhat resembles common horsetail (Equisetum arvense), but has fewer grooves to the stems, and it does not produce its cones on separate special cone-bearing shoots.
